  3. Classical music is supposed to stimulate brain cells, therefore helping you grow and learn.. . However, it is best to study the way you test. For example, if you study buzzed on caffeine, you should drink a lot of caffeine before the test. Therefore, if you study listening to classical music it will benefit more if you test with classical. Sometimes that’s not an option, so be careful.. . Also, regardless of the genre, music that makes you personally excited, distracted, sleepy, etc. it could affect your study ability.
